Removing myself from a topic

Does anyone know how toy stop getting updates from a thread? Deleting the message don't do it.... some of these things get a bit ridiculous and I don't want to see updates from that certain thread again.

put in checkmark

click unsubscribe

or unsubscrime when you get the Email

I was meaning when I click on UNREAD REPLIES... every time I reply to a topic it get listed under UNREAD REPLIES when someone else replies to that topic... I want to be able to stop getting those updates only on certain topics deleting my posts in that thread does not do it.

That's odd. it should. Are you SURE you don't have another post somewhere in the thread?
