These bills are nothing but a mask to further control the population of this country, by limiting what we view or say. It's all about Hollywood losing money in the movie industry, due to illegal piracy. This legislation would in effect, enable law enforcement to take down an entire domain due to something posted on a single blog, an entire, largely innocent online community could be punished for the actions of a tiny minority. The legislation has been opposed by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), Yahoo!, eBay, American Express, Google, Wikipedia, Reporters Without Borders, and Human Rights Watch. EFF’s blog post titled “What’s On the Blacklist?” listed media-sharing services Vimeo and Flickr and e-commerce community Etsy as websites that could be put at risk under the Stop Online Piracy Act. If this passes, say goodbye to America as we know it.

I do not trust them either, every time I send something to my senators they send back a thank you after a month or two saying they appreciate my support. That has NEVER been the subject of my message to them!

Oh well, I signed it, but I think that "hope and change" keeps rolling on, despite our best interests!

I just tried it again with another email addy and it worked fine for me?

I had same problem with google. I think I may have the answer. I use IE7, all of google's products do not support IE7, that may be the main problem.. Try updating your browser to IE8 or Newer. I cannot since work dictates what IE I have.

The "hope and change" is not for the needs of all, it's for the wants of a few. Don't worry, we'll all be praising Allah before long.


BTW- You can still access Wikipedia by holding the escape button down. But you have to do it for each page.

Which Means there are People
Supplying Child porn on the Net.

Yet they are more worried about
someone Downloading some Lame
G rated movie about Dancing penguins
before it hits the Theatre ?

I never under stood that myself, if they can track some downloading child porn, arrest them and convict them- then how come they don't just get the ones putting out there to begin with. I understand that not all of them are in the states, but the ones that are...
