His stomping grounds may have been near you, but he has a new address 6 feet under....

He committed suicide instead of going to federal prison... Interesting character to say the least

alittle interesting tidbit of this story is, Hank Williams jr may be the new owner of the property being he was an acquaintance of ole "Popcorn" and Hank Loves to Metal Detect Civil War sites and is a collector. So it may have already been detected, lol.

Got a place near here nicknamed "Four-Flat Ranch". If your vehicle is found on the property, the guy lets the air out of all the tires.

Re: I "found" this on Facebook today- Does that count?

Back about 10 years ago my wife's uncle went down to the "deep" south to check on a large amount of property that the family here in Michigan had some legal right to. He was met and soundly warned never to approach that land again. He was no wimp but he believed them and never did anything about it. He's deceased now but in his day he was a hard-nosed fighter and if he backed down I know it wasn't some sort of bluff.

I've had various persons warn me about traveling through certain areas of the south because they're still fighting the Civil War. I've heard this from so many over the years that there must be something to it.

It's the max speed limit your ass is likely to make on the way out after the bullets start flying!
