    Battery Operated Devices...

I've been sitting here for awhile, working on a paper due for tomorrow's 8 am class, and it has just occurred to me, after a cursory glance at my wall clock, that it is still early...5:45pm.
Wait, what? Seems like it was that time when I finished the yardwork after I got off work...

Then I seek confirmation of the time from an alternate source. Ah...just as I thought. It's actually after 9:00pm.
Glad I realized the battery had run out in my clock tonight rather than in the morning and miss my early class.

Only one other battery failure could cause me any worries...my metal detector batteries!

Have you a story to relate about "Battery Operated Devices?"

    My Best,
    Scott

PS. At least my calendar doesn't need batteries...
