pic ten shows a flicker that has grasped the red-headed woodpecker's tongue with its beak in a battle royale of bird fights. Awesome stuff. Those flickers are very skittish, very tough to get close to one under any circumstances. Cool post.

Those birds all have a personality.. Take for example the first picture could say "All aboard"

Gleaner, the way it is stretched out it must be about at the breaking point. It is stretching out a long way. LOL.

Hello Spart, that would be a good idea but I don't know how to separate them to put words between the pics.

The last one looked like he might have been eating too many fermented berries and is about to faqll over. LOL.

If someone wants to move them over there, they are welcomed to do it. I would bet that there would be some
really good captions.
