yup I did it. bit the bullet

got a flame red Dodge 2500 4X4 Cummins Diesel Mega cab.

the mega cab is unreal. smooth ride and the roar of the diesel is pretty to say the least. hubby not big on the red but us gals talked him into it. he is cool with it

so fingers crossed this sucker goes many many many miles into the future with no troubles. It has to last a long long time

Ahhhh, good for you, FarmerChick. That is great. Lots of luck with it. When kept up on the oil changes, those
diesel engines will keep going and going and going.

I've always liked the dark red ones. I've had a few.

We have pretty much the same truck.. Our is an 03 and a one ton... but those cummins are pretty amazing... Watch the tranny though... that is the weak point.

We use ours to haul the 3 horse trailer, a very large trailer to bring sawdust home for the stalls.. hay, grain. all in all, a pretty tough truck
