I guess the question you have to ask yourself after high school is where do I wan't to be in 5 years. Looking for a job I have no experience for saddled with dept. I have had many employees over the years living from paycheck to paycheck because college loans were killing them. I have ask many people over the years how much there collage cost them. Not one of them factored in the fact that they were out of the work force for 4 to 6 years and still had no experience. I can tell you that a clean driving record, DRUG free and the ability to come to work on time is worh more than that college degree!

Well I'll level with you that is pretty cowardly, not exactly square, is it?

Worldtalker, it may be called a sheepskin but the more common term is "degree".

As in 32 degree Freemason. Hmm , still frozen in ice I guess?

There's songs about this. I was born on the 4th of July, and now I'm 71. Woke up alive again this morning = whatever.....

It is all about what we really do with our lives. I began from nothing. Dad said I wasn't his, and Mom said otherwise. I didn't listen to them, I just went out and lived my life alone, and took advantage of what ever I saw in front of me. I got here, nothing else mattered to me.

SO, a "Trade" or major in college, for YOU...?

Actually going to college will not make you less capable of earning money. Pretty the opposite. There are plenty of majors that will give you effective tools to be more productive. Besides the tools, colleges can prepare you for a job that makes good money. This can be utilized to spring you into your investment/trade stage in life. Though college is not for everyone. My sister tried college, it wasn't for her, she constantly used different services to complete her assignments. Does that mean she won't be successful in life? Not at all. Does that mean she won't earn money? Not at all. Henry Ford dropped out of eighth grade...
