I just flooded the bathroom....
and into the master bedroom. YUP what an AHOLE I am.
after about 1 1/2 hrs I got the bathroom done and got fans on to dry but the master carpet is soaked. thank goodness not too far, up to the bed a bit.
well good thing we chatted about replacing the carpet....so you KNOW THIS will push that decision to do IT NOW!
my tub doesn't have the stupid water hole for drainage in it....and what AHOLE designed that should be shot. So many years I thought about having a water overflow put in but didn't. Was running bath for kiddo. went to get her and she was asleep on her bed. so I went off to do laundry and other stuff not to go back into the bathroom. YEA I CALL myself DUMBA$$ right now. lol
ok--bad things come in 3s right?
hit the camper with the mower.
flooded the bathroom and master bedroom today.
OMG what will be the third ??
people better stay away from me. I am dangerous.

#3.....find a massive platinum ring with huge diamonds, and then lose it in the drain you just put in the tub?

Big you are cruel!
hubby just tore out the carpet and padding from the bathroom door up to the bed a bit and into the main part. sopping wet. Now my bedroom looks like a disaster zone. had to move dresser. it went into my closet also. I have to get in there tomorrow.
what a freaking mess to the max.
but we chatted a bit and we are repainting, new furniture, new carepting. So whole new room out of this mess HAHA

I did the bath tub thing. Second floor apartment, downstairs neighbors were not too happy.

 Living the WP
Do you mean it has no overflow? How old is this tub? I am impressed!
Sorry for the new room though. Are you going to remodel the bath and get rid of the Clawfoot also? If you do save it.

LOL love the little bathtub icons.
yes I believe MANY of us have done the stupid bathtub thing.
No, not a clawfoot. A one piece tub/shower surround. garden type, big. BUT it never had a drain hole. I don't do baths much, shower gal here. So when kiddo came along I let her have the bigger tub in my bath. WELL I went and did it, flood! I knew I would do it, just when was the real question LOL
Now I have 1/2 a carpet in my room with the darn wood floor exposed, and I right now I have a million things happening. Have to get my old camper back and go purchase new camper and get those emptied and reloaded. And other life stuff....so the push on the carpet has to wait a bit. I wasn't planning this redo of the bedroom 'just yet'...you know when time was available. BUT I guess now I will have to make time

Hmmmm, maybe again I have to rethink my lawn mower reply and update my original thought processes..
Now I believe that subconsciously you were trying to bring the beach to you, 1st with the flooding and just adding the sand later.. This way you would never have to leave home to hunt

Count your blessings, the PVC decided to come off from under our toilet...this is one time I'm glad we are just renting for now. (there is no icon for holding your nose or I would have used it!)
I would never have been able to be a plumber after seeing what that poor guy had to deal with. If you know or see a plumber you should thank them for their service!
Good luck on your remodel

Spart you are probably correct. I read over on the Beach and Shallow Water area and I am jealous as heck. People who live on the beach and detect it every day and find real good stuff. you might have something there
