Good.. I can post anything I want and no one can stop me :laughing7:

I've had flickering lights all afternoon, and 4-5 brief interruptions thus far and the night's still young :tongue3:

Well still here sounds quiet too, am I in the Eye ? :tongue3:

Last night Wind changed from N.E. to East & Must have been a rare strong gust.
I Heard a Pop & whole house felt like a Wind Tunnel.
wind blew a window out upstaires in my storage room.
No lights in there so waiting till sun comes up far enough to see what I'm doing to
fix it. just thew a matresss up against the doorway to block the wind temporarily.

Slept downstares in the living room on a chair for 2 hours if you can call that sleep.
wanted to stay away from windows LOL

Spart I Believe it was on the weather Channel they were Filming past the big green statue
& You could see the flashes from electrical explosions towards Jersey .
looked like you's were celebratin' the end of snookie's career. with fireworks

It was a pretty wild night to say the least. Lost power soon after I posted above, so I figured I might as well get some sleep. We had full power restored by the time I got up:icon_thumright:.. Yeah, that's right, they don't want to have to deal with the likes of me in the morning :laughing7:

Had some damage, but I'll tend to that later, there's no rush to see what work I have ahead of me :tongue3:

Now the clean up begins for those of you that made it safely through it. Glad your okay! Your beaches are probably going to look like crap for over a week. Ours did in Gulfport after the hurricane we had this last season. I got out there even when there was trash and whatever else to contend with.

I made it, but the power didn't . I am running on the MH gen. It's like a backup system. I don't expect the grid back any time soon. Hope all are well! Frank

My sons and I have backup generators but this event has reminded me we need to keep more gasoline on hand.

I try to fill truck tank when foul weather coming,a pain siphoning but decent storage. At first outage portable tanks get filled a few miles away at a generator backed station.
