ok. Put me in coach.

So everyone in America has the right to own a weapon of any type ? Even though they are not properly trained or may not be of sound mind ? Excluding felons and such. I am for gun ownership. Responsible gun ownership. The need for everyone to own militaristic weapons I do not believe is what was mean't in the constitution. Too many nuts out there that believe "their" cause is just. Their cause is right for the nation. When in fact they are detrimental to the nations well being..

adding your own long opinions...all of which will eventually be decided by your government, which is a political body, right?
We ,The People , will make the final determination . Won't be the first time WE sent mentally challenged wannabe rulers back to hell where they came from .

I see your double standards have come into play again TH. It's ok to delete my factual and non-confrontational response to Chadeaux, but not ok to delete his original name calling, questioning my education and drifting along his own historical lines to make his point (which was wrong)?
How come you're so anti-political posts, yet allow all these gun debate threads to remain while also adding your own long opinions...all of which will eventually be decided by your government, which is a political body, right?
I'm actually a "mod" on another site and if i moderated as you do, which is basically "biased", there'd be no threads left for anyone to debate about!

I'm being picky, i see no harm in Chad's posts, just his opinions and that's all i responded with in mine. His posts are technically a lot more derogatory and confrontational than my response and yet mine gets deleted and his stay! (not that i really care, but "principle" and all that ya know?)
If you're going to be a "mod" then be an impartial one!

Halito Dano.

If you have things you wish to tell me, you may PM me if they are things that are not allowed in the open forum.

I do, however, believe you owe TH an apology for your statements about how he moderates. I also believe that the simple fact that he steps on EVERYONES' toes on occasion shows that he is not biased.

Yes, he has removed my posts in the past when they went beyond the TOS of this site. Did I like it? Ask TH, I have sent him more than one ungentlemanly note.

Watching and paying attention to how he deals with this unruly bunch of opinionated folks has changed my mind. I do believe he is, if nothing else, fair in how he does his job and to accuse him of being otherwise is an insult. Many times I do not agree with him, but I'm generally a horse's butt anyhow (as you well know) so I don't think that counts.

American Gun Owners to be Fingerprinted and Registered: Feinstein Announces Nightmare Plan

Infowars.com
December 27, 2012

California Democrat Dianne Feinstein will introduce legislation in January calling for the fingerprinting and registering of all gun owners in the United States.

On her Senate web page, Feinstein states her proposed legislation will add fingerprinting and photo identification to the National Firearms Act.

A firearms seller must currently submit Form 4473 to the government containing the name, address, driver license information, NICS background check transaction number, serial number and model of the firearm, and a short federal affidavit stating that the purchaser is eligible to purchase firearms under federal law. Feinstein’s bill will add a substantial layer of bureaucracy to the existing regulations.

The effort to expand firearms registration will include weapons grandfathered prior to the enactment of Feinstein’s proposed legislation. In other words, all gun owners will be required to register their constitutionally guaranteed firearms with a federal government inimical to the Second Amendment.

Feinstein’s registration process will likely surpass New York City’s handgun permit process, which is a bureaucratic nightmare. In addition to non-refundable fees totaling over $500, the permit process demands two recent color photos, a birth certificate, proof of citizenship and residence, a blizzard of affidavits, and other red-tape hurdles. Applications are routinely denied for spurious reasons, including non-violent misdemeanors and depression.

As Dean Weingarten notes, gun registration is de facto gun confiscation. Following mandatory gun registration, the government “will know who has legal possession of each firearm. They will know where the firearm is stored. When physical possession of the gun is desired, they can order you to turn it in. This has happened repeatedly,” most notably in Nazi Germany, Red China and Soviet Russia.

More recently, it has occurred in Kosovo, Great Britain, Australia, New York, and California. If Feinstein has her way next month, it will happen across America.

Democrats and their Republican co-conspirators are going all out to ban firearms. Feinstein’s bill will ban the sale, transfer, importation, and manufacturing of 120 specifically-named firearms, including semiautomatic rifles, handguns, and shotguns that can accept detachable and fixed magazines and have “one military characteristic.”

In addition, Feinstein’s bill will outlaw flash suppressors, bayonet mounts, thumbhole stocks and bullet buttons on firearms.

Make no mistake about it. Obama and his anti-Second Amendment allies in Congress are coming for your guns. If they have their way, the only legal firearms in America will be rifles with 10 round magazines and single shot and bolt-action rifles – and those firearms will be registered with the government and may be confiscated at any moment.

Confiscated ? To confiscate firearms from every american would be impossible. There are an estimated 200 million privately owned firearms in the U.S.A.. To search every person, their personal property, grounds, buildings and automobiles alone would take decades. And that's without the resistance. LOL ! This document is of legislation by one individual and a whole lot of assumptions.
As a gun owner. I will never turn my guns in to any one. I'm not going to let anyone incite me with their propaganda. I'll deal with it , if that day comes. I'm prepared as much as I can be.

The delusion of the dreamers is that they can write a mandate on a piece of paper and wave it at the public and the public will bow down and comply .

Yes, technically, everything that has happened is History. " HIS STORY". But what most speak of here is the special events in history. Frank
