Hell, our governor(Rick Perry) will sign this before it is even introduced, but most texans won't care. Still a lot of independence here. Our gun crimes consist of:
shootings at bars
shootings at guys who cheated with the wife
gangsters shooting other gangsters
police or security guards shooting people
gangsters retaliating for the previous shootings
wives shooting husbands for lots of reasons
guys shooting ex-girlfriends new guy(it's an ethnic thing)
people shooting themselves by accident because guns and alcohol tend to be in most cars and trucks
here.
The law is questionable, but what the heck. We think we're even cooler now and our gun stores can't keep stuff in stock that 6 months ago they couldn't give away. Between fracing and Obama, this state is rich again...
