I love hummers, can't wait for them to start migrating north. They normally arrive here in late Feb.

Amazing footage! I have been told that they migrate to the higher elevations first. They apparently seek out the nectar from the mountain flowers, then they migrate down where I live at the lower altitude in June and July. I watch them when they check out my Honeysuckle vines. Thank for sharing! :thumbsup:

I think the hummingbirds are fascinating to watch, and hearing them is also amazing. We don't see them where I'm from in New England. And we've tried placing feeders all over the property.

We do get our fair share of Monarch Butterflies because of the plants we have in the garden but they aren't the same thing as Hummingbirds.
