Just picked up the new washer last night (samsung) it is a lot smoother. I am still using the silent feet isolation pads but I will install some 3/4 oak flooring under the washer and dryer soon and that should help some more.

APPLAUD! Clapping of Hands! GREAT!

Diesel,

You forgot to cue me for the music....better late than never.

Hey everyone, I am getting more and more frustrated everyday with my Bosh front load washer. I have leveled it, put it on a set of silent feet isolation pads and installed extra bridging under the floor (installed on second floor). Has anyone else had this problem with a front loader? If so how did you correct it? I am about ready to put it on craigslist and go get a different brand washer. Lowes is recommending a Samsung model for second floors.

that's easy with a front loader. just get 500 lbs of scrap steel and put it on top

Do you think a mother in-law would work instead? :laughing7: I figure if 500 lbs would work 750 lbs would be better!!! LOL!!:laughing9:

I had this same problem about a year ago. It seemed to get really loud every time I turned it on. Mine wasn't a name brand, but it shook like crazy!
It got so bad that my wife finally put her foot down and wouldn't let me use her washer to tumble rocks anymore!
:)
