A quick story of camping with some Friends a few years ago...
Me and 3 other guys were camping in my mountains and around the campfire big talk was spoken.

I said, "Try to watch this."

The next closest campsite was about 200 yards away through forest.

I snuck up on their campsite, slowly found a seat on a log in the shadows, worked my way to their camp fire and was eventually offered a beer!

Ah! What I learned as a kid in the Army!

I almost went skydiving once, while in the USAF. Was stationed in San Antonio and a friend invited me to New Mexico - was supposed to be the first time for both of us. She calls me up one evening and asks if I'd been watching the news....I said no. She said that one of the instructors, at the place we were supposed to be at in about a week, had died. His chute didn't open. He was by himself and conditions were beautiful. His chute just....didn't open! We himhawed a while trying to figure out if we wanted to maybe try someplace a little closer, but decided in the end that it just wasn't that important.

She was Air Traffic Control and had been given rides in a couple of fighters, so she thought she was ready. I spent many years in the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Asso.) and had flown in some pretty darn small aircraft. But, what can I say?? ...But I'm betting that would have been a fun trip!

Yeah. Us "Cold War" Vets who kept America and the world safe from mutual Nuclear self assured Destruction.
Think about it for just a minute....
At 18 years old, I patrolled Germany alongside and with the German Nationals.
I had their ear....
TO Keep America, Europe and the World safe....

This is why I advocate for recognition of "Cold War" Vets.
Perhaps my Congressman Friend can provide answers and mental and physical help towards my passion of our Vets........




And....I've said too much again.....I've much to accomplish in the short time that I have left.....
Time again to "get busy." Dig?

And there ain't no mountain top is too high nor a valley too low...

When my Brothers and Sisters need me, I'll be there for them.....

Severe pain in his left hand, his primary use hand, meaning that playing my guitar is barely possible.

Such a harsh sentence imposed upon me!

Fought more with the snow plow in Nov. Solenoid for plow motor and the usual rusted in place lights that have never been right ,so move light bar around.
Extra red wire with nothing on the end??

Mounted the plow after a foot of snow and neighbors dragging around getting stuck.
( None dragged themselves over to shovel my ramp or clear off the truck though, should have waited another day or two...kidding.)

First push the plow came off the carriage on one side.Wheeeeeee!

Tis cold out. No snakes ,spiders,bee' s though.
Kid walks for college graduation farther north Sat..
A plow is nice for running into stuff ,but might pull it for the trip. Forecast says it will be snowing well though so ...who knows.

When I lived in Kansas, I moved alot of snow during the winters.

First our 1/2 mile driveway and then the neighbors.

I was always rewarded with hot coffee and cookies!



And remember, Santa is watching.....
