If hose was not cut...but blistered or swollen or jagged split ...Touch your wheel hubs after a short drive to check for heat.
If one is too hot to touch more than a moment compared to the other , you have a suspect.
Around 111F is hot enough not to lean on for long ( big older electric motors run near that temp (?) ) but hose melting is above that.
Usually a sticky or sticking / slow to retract brake caliper gives symptoms before that stage but not always.
A bearing can generate heat too if failing. Often preceded by noise/ rumble. Too , not always.
