Thanks Rev, wind just piking up, and cooling things off, wife is out paddling on the lake with her Dragonboat team, bet she's home soon. State has already but emergency measures into force, and looks to be a major rain event.....Trouble is we have no place to put 4 plus more inches of rain. My house is on the highest point here at Long Point, so I'm save, but some of my clients could get wet feet. Now let's boogie!
I see a lot of foul weather in the forecast for Springfield, there is bad weather all across America,Damn Chemtrails!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any "Dead Heads" in the house tonight?

A mis-spent youth, surviving, leads to a touch of grey....

For the survivors of mis-spent youth.

"Gee, Mr. Peabody, can you really go back that far?"
"Absolutely, my Dear Sherman. I once owned a Burl Ives album with this very song."

Folks,

Jay + the Americans - Cara Mia.....pretty hard to beat Jay Black's high notes....

Once upon a time, 30 years ago, I could match Freddie Mercury in this song.

Then, puberty hit. :laughing7:

Now I cackle the last time that I tried....

Best,

Scott

Okay, I have a off the wall question. Every time I open a page of tnet that contains a youtube video all the videos start playing automatically all at once. I am running windows 8 and I think it is a windows 8 issue and not a tnet issue. Anyone know how to turn this off?

Being a pretty private person, I don't usually say much about what is going on for me.
These last two weeks have been more than difficult and RC your earlier post tapped into it all..
Two weeks ago my beloved young male cat, got up in the morning as usual and within 5min was paralyzed from the waist down.
I knew it was an aneurysm as a result of undiagnosed cardiomyopathy. .When this happens it is very painful with no real cure. .I rushed him to emergency vet and by that time he could hardly breathe. ..only thing was to euthanize. ..I am so very sad about this..so very tragic with no warning!
On top of that I spent the afternoon at Stanford Hospital yesterday while my husband underwent some tests which won't be completed until the end of July...
Having experienced much early childhood loss, these thing affect me profoundly. ..thus my thanks again RC for your thoughtful post...
My best to all,
Barb

Barb,

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your Friend.

I too, know of loss.

I have no family because I've outlived all except my sister.

My best Buddy, Otis was with me for close to 10 years.
I rescued him from certain death.
We brought each other comfort and joy every day.

I'm so thankful for the time that we spent together, and, while I still miss him,
he always warms my heart when I think of him and look at pictures of him.

Please understand that I feel there is a place for all animals, after leaving this life,
where they are happy and they all play together with no worries.

Your Friend and my Otis are together, playing and Happy.

Here's some pics of my Buddy, Otis.

Yes, I still cry when I think of Otis....

Barb, You're always in my thoughts...

Best Wishes,

Scott

"Hear Ye, Hear Ye"

I bring forth a resolution for the inclusion of Barb's male cat, for Honorary Mascot Honors.

"Robert's Rules" will be followed....

Seconds?
We have seconds.

A vote will now be taken.

All in favor, signify by liking this post or providing comments.

All opposed (If you dare).

I'll vote in the liberal party tradition by multiple voting....

Now all that we need is the name of this esteemed mascot.

My Best,

Scott

Oops.. never mind the political reference....
