Movie with Sandler, Barrymore to film in area this summer

They are looking for "extras."

I have taken some "head shots" and will be contacting the producers in the next day or so....

Who knows? Maybe I'll be cast as an old hippy....

One that was playing when I was at a concert and Carol bumped a guy carting 3 beers and were spilled.
I told her to keep walking and I'd deal with it....

I convinced the guy that he didn't want to go at it with a crazy man: He'd lose.

We went to the concession stand and I bought him a beer and we were then "all cool."

I then found my way back to my "Front Row" seats, and Carol, for the rest of the concert.



It was an outdoor venue at Sandstone amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
Part of a multi concert summer that I had great tickets for several concerts
due to my remodeling work for a "friend" of the promoter.

Thanks for allowing me to remember the memory!

I remember one year, for my Birthday, Carol surprised me with tickets to a Heart concert in Topeka, Kansas.

I don't remember the venue, maybe the Civic Center?

When we pulled in, looking for a place to park my 'cycle,
Phred Phelps and his ilk were lined upon the street protesting who knows what....

I laughed at the fools and we went in and enjoyed my Birthday.

Had an interesting day, sunk boats, float away docks, and renter's arriving a day early, and those were the high lights. Most of the rain stayed to the West and North, but the lake is roily and rising. But it's Friday, and the end of the week!

I'm ready to settle down, relax, and turn in early tonight,( what's new)

I'm making a large hot meatball sub on hard Italian bread, provolone cheese, peppers and onions, with my homemade marinara sauce tonight , followed by watermelon slices, and numerous Land Shark lagers........I'll get more imaginative over the weekend. Friends have the best of evenings, enjoy and relax......Gary

how many sunken boats can there be in Vermont? What the heck are people up there doing?

Just had 2 daysof rain, 4-5 inches in some areas around the lake, and since I reside in an area with a number of summer cottages, people leave, go home and don't realize how quickly the lake can change.
add the rain, North winds and unsecured boats on the shore, and bingo, my bill is in the mail I take care of 7 camps in this area, and a large property of a client who resides in NH. Just another day on the Lake.
