Just finished my yard work obligations;
Pulled ivy vines climbing the trees,
blowed debris from the roof and gutters,
trimmed 5-6 bushes, mowed, and sprayed weed killer.
Felt good to be outside, soaking up that sunlight thick vitamin D,
Instead of in front of my computer screen trying to figure out the finer nuances of Power Point.
By the way, my Geology Proposal for my Presentation was accepted by the Professor,
with some additional suggestions.....
The Lab Exam?
Well...
Let's just say that I passed and we'll leave it there.
Tuesday is the Math Exam and I have to memorize at least 3 formulas....
Here's one:
------------------------------------
I noticed, while mowing the back yard,
that the stump I've been trying to make disappear, probably needs just one more,
good, steady little fire to take it on down to ground level.
I'm tired of mowing around it.
I might take a break from studying and put a match to it tonight.
I picked up several twigs and branches that must be disposed of...
And.....
Voile!
Since I can't go camping,
I'll probably wait until dark,
become transfixed by the dancing flames
and imagine that I'm in my mountains......
I will have time to think about the slides of my Power Point, like how many to have,
what info to show to correspond to my narrative, slide transitions, sounds/music,
fonts, maps, charts, graphs, gif's, etc. ad nauseum.
Then tomorrow,
I'll begin in earnest;
I have, up to now, only been trying to reclaim lost "Know-How."
I think I got this.....
Hope All are Well,
And have a great weekend!
Best Wishes,
Scott
PS.
Let me drop this on y'all...
A couple of tunes that strike my fancy right about now.
Hope they are your favorites, too!
