GIB,

Now that's funny.....the cabin fever was getting to me.....I needed a good laugh....either that or I was planning to attack diesel with a batch of my frozen snowballs....lol.

A guy walks INTO a psychiatrist's office covered only in Saran Wrap. He says to the doctor, "I've felt so weird lately, Doc, can you tell me what's wrong?"

The doctor replied, "Well, I can clearly see your nuts!"

Now, the science and acadamia of this joke.

The humor is resultant upon the homophone of "your."

Being confused from the former is the counterpart, "you're."
This is a contraction of you are, whereas "your" indicates a possessive.
Don't you just love how jokes work?

Yeah, I don't get invited to very many parties.....

But at least I know why!

My Best,

Scott

Anybody want to try and figure out what the codes mean or should I start revealing the answers?

They are not all medical are they?

Some are, some are not, here is the answer to the first one:

1. Rebel once only Towering and former.

Towering is the fourth cranial nerve. Only Towering and former means IV, III, II, and I. "Locked in syndrome is loss of everything below CN IV. hence, Rebel once had only CN 1-4 and was in a locked in state...

try the second one.

German and hops=beer!

Chair - it's a memory aid called a mnemonic. Each word in the nonsense phrase stands for another word in a list. Like the days of the week or months of the year, etc, etc. the rhymes you used in school to memorize things.

Yeah! You got the second:

2. Helen Keller lost Old (and) And.

Old is II - occipital responsible for sight.
And is VIII - auditory responsible for hearing.

Helen Keller lost seeing and hearing.

Okay, lets skip III for now and go on to IV...who wants to take a guess?

I'm all in with the guess that what you see, hear and experience everyday is
insanity on a certain level in every situation.

It all depends upon whether you choose to be a part of that insanity and/or perpetuate thus, or,
shake your head and walk away knowing that there's nothing that you
individually can accomplish towards a positive result.....

In other words, I GIVE UP!

{Shoves all chips forward...}

Best,

Scott

4. Stop Viewed for a heart attack.

Viewed is 10th nerve, vagus. Vagus is responsible for heart beat. If you stop your vagus you have a heart attack.

5. Mess with Tops...tic de la roux!

Tops is 5th, trigeminal. Trigeminal neuralgia is an extremely painful nerve syndrome caused by disruption with CN V. The French name of trigeminal neuralgia is tic de la roux.

I'll leave three for everybody to figure out on their own so I don't get myself in trouble again.

So, is it Crispin or am I an imposter? Not bad for making it up on the spot...if I do say so myself.

Crispin,

You're turning into the court jester....confusing and bemusing the crew and doing a great job I might add....

A tune to cheer up the troops..
