I had a long talk with momma last night. We didn't go to sleep until after we watched the sunrise....I'm off to a great 2016! Sometimes we have to make the time to chase the butterflies! Which person are you? Would you rather watch the beautiful sunset? Or would you rather watch a beautiful sunrise ? Are you willing to change for your spouse? After all, relationships are about compromise. Goodnight All

You would have been impressed the other day.
A dually smoked me out big time on the road!
I had to speed up to get away from it and get along side him.

Lyrics for Scott..

Heaven can wait
And a band of angels wrapped up in my heart
Will take me through the lonely night
Through the cold of the day
And I know
I know
Heaven can wait
And all the gods come down here just to sing for me
And the melody's gonna make me fly
Without pain
Without fear
Give me all of your dreams
And let me go along on your way
Give me all of your prayers to sing
And I'll turn the night into the skylight of day
I got a taste of paradise
I'm never gonna let it slip away
I got a taste of paradise
It's all I really need to make me stay
Just like a child again

Heaven can wait
And all I got is time until the end of time
I won't look back
I won't look back
Let the altars shine

And I know that I've been released
But I don't know to where
And nobody's gonna tell me now
And I don't really care
No no no
I got a taste of paradise
That's all I really need to make me stay
I got a taste of paradise
If I had it any sooner you know
You know I never would have run away from my home

Heaven can wait
And all I got is time until the end of time
I won't look back
I won't look back
Let the altars shine

Hmm, like this?

It's funny, all my sons friends always ask me to roll coal if they happen to be ridding with us! Lol! I need to make a video! Perhaps I'll go hunting a Prius to smoke! Lol

Dram I gotta ask. You like the 12v cummins. A friend of mine has a '97 I think . Rattles... It is noisy. He just got (like today) a 24v cummins, It is fairly quiet and has more power then the 12v. Whats with the "old school" love ?
I can't ask him he is a diesel noobe.. He gets fryer oil from local restaurants and makes his own Biodiesel...At a little over a buck a gallon to produce, now I'am leaning towards getting one. I wonder how they do off road?

Off road, depends what your doing. Their front end heavy...but they are close to bullet proof! The 12 valve is superior for many reasons. First, NO COMPUTER required. Second, some early 24 valves (cast in Mexico, referred to as "53" block) crack. Not as bad as it sounds to deal with. Third, 12 valves have the P7100 injection pump (read holy grail of injection pumps). Fourth I swear the 12 valve is more efficient, although many will argue that. Fifth, their usually louder!!! Lol!
If you can find a early 1998 quad cab 4x4 stick shift truck with the cummins it's worth BIG MONEY!! (Again read holy grail). With that truck you get the newer dash, four doors, 12 valve and the Dana 80 rear end.
Heck mine has 413,000 miles on it. Motor never been apart, makes big power and delivers 21-23 mpg if you keep her under 60 mph (damn 4.10 gears!!) I'd give up my wrangler before I gave her up!!

RC,

Thanks, (I think) for the memories.

Seems like this was the song that I remembered the most....

And,
For you and my Friends,
"The Words."

"Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad"

Baby we can talk all night
But that ain't getting us nowhere
I told you everything I possibly can
There's nothing left inside of here

And maybe you can cry all night
But that'll never change the way I feel
The snow is really piling up outside
I wish you wouldn't make me leave here

I poured it on and I poured it out
I tried to show you just how much I care
I'm tired of words and I'm too hoarse to shout
But you've been cold to me so long
I'm crying icicles instead of tears

And all I can do is keep on telling you
I want you
I need you
But there ain't no way
I'm ever gonna love you
Now don't be sad
'Cause two out of three ain't bad
Now don't be sad
'Cause two out of three ain't bad

You'll never find your gold on a sandy beach
You'll never drill for oil on a city street
I know you're looking for a ruby
In a mountain of rocks
But there ain't no
Coupe de Ville hiding
At the bottom of a Cracker Jack box

I can't lie
I can't tell you that I'm something I'm not
No matter how I try
I'll never be able to give you something
Something that I just haven't got

There's only one girl that I will ever love
And that was so many years ago
And though I know I'll never get her out of my heart
She never loved me back, ooh I know
I remember how she left me on a stormy night
She kissed me and got out of our bed
And though I pleaded and I begged her
Not to walk out that door
She packed her bags and turned right away

And she kept on telling me
She kept on telling me
She kept on telling me
I want you
I need you
But there ain't no way
I'm ever gonna love you
Now don't be sad
'Cause two out of three ain't bad
Don't be sad
'Cause two out of three ain't bad

Baby we can talk all night
But that ain't getting us nowhere

Best,

Scott

The irony of lyrics....

I made a set of trunk keys today for a guy from the Sheriff's Department.
He's restoring a classic....
A 1964 Cadillac Coupe De Ville!

6 cuts on a B10 blank.
Took all of 15 minutes.

He said that he'd give me a ride when it's finished....
Ridin' with the king?

Reminds me of....never mind.

Of course I'll take pictures!

Then, I picked open an "American" brand 5 pin padlock in less than 30 seconds and then rekeyed it.
Got another "bank job" coming up; opening a safe deposit box....

Ah! It's good to be good at what you do and love doin' it!

Should have bought me a lottery ticket.
Might just make the new year different...

I think it's up to $400 MILLION!

But any true gambler will say, "It's a sucker bet."

I say, "Can't win it if you ain't in it."

Just a song before I go,
To whom it may concern
Traveling twice the speed of sound
It's easy to get burned

When the shows were over
We had to get back home,
And when we opened up the door
I had to be alone

She helped me with my suitcase,
She stands before my eyes
Driving me to the airport,
And to the friendly skies

Going through security
I held her for so long
She finally looked at me in love,
And she was gone

One of the first black eyes I endured in my youth was due to having made my own butterfly net in 3rd grade.
I took it to school and at recess, the girls followed me around as I caught one "skipper" or "clouded sulfur" after another and presented them to the admirers.

Well, school bully boy didn't like that a "sissy" was taking the attention of the girls from him....

Yeah, a fight.
I played submissive.
Got my black eye.
Wore it 2 days later for school pictures and 5 years later kicked his ass thoroughly.
Today, we are civil.

Even to this day, I have 2 home-made nets and still catch butterflies when I want to make pictures....

Examples that I gave to my Landlord as a gift when I moved in...

Did I mention,

THE BEST LANDLORD, EVAH!!?
