Funny , or perhaps, IRONY that you mention "School."

Classes start for me next Monday. Then Wednesday. An odd class schedule for me having always had classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays....

Hope my books get here this week....

Shall we talk of additional "nightmare fuel?"

Oh, and by the way, y'all,
That Birthday greeting I sent to my first Wife?

I guess she never got it because that I'm not smart enough on "My Face" or "Space Book" or whatever the hell and it says that we are "not connected."

Does that I mean I have to send a friend request first?

C'mon kids, help an old man understand, lend a hand...

HOWEVER!

It may be good that the message never reached it's intended recipient....Perhaps?

PS.

I like how the 3 motif is running.....
I like to keep it within personal knowledge without internet searching....

My favorite Foghat song. My band covered it in High school....twin guitars, we could trade/echo licks! We always had "vocalist" problems...small town ya see!

I'm somewhat miffed due to a recent ebay purchase.
To wit:

Fabulous Natural Faceted Peridot Loose Gemstone 6x6x4mm | eBay

S'posed to be two matching stones.
Brilliant rounds...
AKKK!

I received my purchase and, to my dismay, one of the stones has a MAJOR "table face" chip!

This one is trash to me.
I cannot use it.
And they ain't from China!!!
They're from the US.
But where they got them from....?
How did I get screwed?

Yeah, I'm a skilled and trained jeweler, goldsmith, silversmith, watchmaker, and a master of mixed media and creator of fine works of art.
I was selected in High School by the instructor for an "invitation only" class in jewelry making.

During this time I found my way to the Kansas University campus after hours to work with and learn from the instructor, Byron Sneegas and the class....by kinda sneaking in and being everybody's Friend....

Years after I graduated high school, the Army and such,
The Teacher from High School, Mr. Jordan, and I reconnected!
I was his "go to guy" for stones to supply his students for their project's desires...
I later worked for a jeweler and watchmaker and received my pay sometimes in loose diamonds....
I have many examples, either in photos, stories or both of my past work....
And, I still have a silver and tiger eye ring that I made way back when I has 16.
It's in one of my safes....give me a minute...I'll find it.....

Anywhich, I contacted the seller to resolve the issue.

Yeah, I paid 1 cent. But the shipping cost! Oy Vey!

We'll see how this plays out....

Best,

Scott

PS.

The other stone is "tolerable."

"Perhaps they never will..."

"Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)"

Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul

Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy linen land

Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free

They would not listen, they did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now

Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue

Colors changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand

Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free

They would not listen, they did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now

For they could not love you
But still your love was true
And when no hope was left in sight
On that starry, starry night

You took your life, as lovers often do
But I could've told you Vincent
This world was never meant for
One as beautiful as you

Starry, starry night
Portraits hung in empty halls
Frame-less heads on nameless walls
With eyes that watch the world and can't forget

Like the strangers that you've met
The ragged men in ragged clothes
The silver thorn of bloody rose
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow

Now I think I know
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free

They would not listen, they're not listening still
Perhaps they never will

You find the key, you got the gold

One, two, three lock box
One, two, three lock box

Treasure's here, sunken there
Buried treasure's everywhere, ooh

The father, son, the holy ghost
To the trinity, I raise a toast
Ahh yeah

One, two, three lock box

Secrets of the trinity
Lie within the number three
Uh, hey

One, two, three lock box
One, two, three lock box
One, two, three lock box
(Three Lock Box)
One, two, three lock box

Well, the ones pictured on original add look like glass door knobs that been tossed down concrete steps a few times.
Picture certainly do not always represent what is being offered accurately either though and no mention in add of quality/grade(s).
I'd expect blemished pieces to be sold as such.. but reckon the seller is moving them out regardless and pics depict near product condition.

I'am sorry to here that Scott. eBay can be a PIA at times. I hope the seller resolves the problem.
You are a jeweler? I have a necklace I really like...it needs to be modified to fit me. I want it so it wont break/fall off when I'm ocean fishing, riding dirt bikes...prospecting fighting etc. :laughing7:I can build a house but "extending" the length of a necklace......

Of course click once, click twice pic goes super size!! You know... three clicks....whoa!!!
At least with a PC.

Yeah it operates about the same as my last one. Just a lot faster and with Verizon I can get a signal! Lol

I love getting all the new bells and whistles!

Sent from a spun out toilet paper tube (one ply)!
