Scott....is there a quick way to add a "necklace extension'? My long ...LONG hair would cover the extension. 18" won't even go around my neck. I'am not sure why I bought it without research. I might have planned to restring it using paua shell beads.

If you spend 150 or more you get the BIG catalog.
I think the next time I'm in Grants Pass I should hang around and sweet talk an employee....
Don't we all need a 1254 page catalog? Heh!

Here's what I'd do:

Get a cloth seamstress tape measure, or even a piece of string, wrap it around your neck and hold it to where you would want the tooth to be. That is a rough approximation of the length you want.

With an extension, I see more than one location for integrity failure resulting in the potential loss of the necklace.

My recommendation, as I said earlier, is to restring.

Of course, the added length would require additional beads and such, of which I have a limited supply of, to fill the additional length.

Using the Fire Mountain Catalog, you could pick and choose what you wanted.

Again, particulars can be discussed in PM's if you wish to pursue this route.

Best,

Scott

Pat,

Good news on the tooth repair....sweet dreams...lol.

Regards + HH

Bill

Hmmm....

Here we are, talking about shark tooth necklaces, and human teeth....

Does anyone have a necklace of human teeth? Anyone?

Want one?

Yeah, I've got some of my teeth. Some I pulled myself, some a dentist pulled.

Nah.

Don't think there's much of a market for that kinda thing....:dontknow:

Best,

Scott

Added:
During the US Civil War, "Dentists" would flock to battle sites to pull teeth of corpses and then fashion and sell dentures using these soldiers' teeth.
No, Smart Alex, I wasn't there. I'm not THAT old!

COOL!

This one is for the class/lecture starting on Monday.

My first "Lab" class is Wednesday, so I hope that textbook arrives before then!

Time to peruse the textbook, y'all!

Best,

Scott
The one still to arrive is for the required accompanying "Lab."

ADDED:

Just sent an email to my academic adviser to wit:

Connie Ringger;

Greetings!

Hope that you had a Blessed Christmas and a pleasant respite from the rigors of academia!

Just wanted to let you know that through your assistance, I was able to acquire the necessary textbooks at a fraction of the cost for this Spring Semester!
Thank You!

I am "chomping at the bit" to start the new semester, with new ideas, new goals and new perspectives!

Hope to see you on Campus soon!

Best Wishes Always,

Scott Xxxxxx

I received a PM from a new member here at Treasurenet, that I do not know, wanting to know how to post a thread.

"How do I post a thread for a question I have?"

Anyone have advice or a link that I might provide for assistance?

Of course, I have the "long answer,"

But....

Best,

Scott

I don't have a link, but it's kinda self explanatory. What are they confused about?

Here's my "long answer."

My Friend,

First of all, Welcome to Treasurenet!

We all find our Treasure in many different ways!

In reply to your query, Treasurenet is organized by topic.

Find the topic that most closely addresses your interest.

Click on that topic and at the top left you will see, in an orange field, "Post new Thread."

The rest should be easy to follow!

I must say, though, that pictures will rule!

Once again,
Welcome to Treasurenet and I hope you become "hooked" upon the search for "Treasure" in everything you seek!

My Best Wishes,

Scott

If you need additional assistance, always feel free to contact me. I'll help as best as I can....

How 'bout that?

Oh, Hell yes! A "headless" 6 string!

"....when the moon was new....."

giorgio1.jpg
"Ahem....Someone call?"

Best,

Scott

I only ask of advice from my Friends so that I might learn.....

Hmm... Is Jeff not a Charter Member?

I don't see no sense in this line of reasoning....
Yet, I must salute?

Something be wrong here, Folks.

Does Jeff need to be a Charter Member?

I can financially make that happen tonight if necessary.

Where am I wrong here?

Jeff?

Treasure, of an unusual nature, that men and women alike will talk of.....

I have purchased lottery tickets again, my Friends!
Not 5, not 10 but....

A smooth dozen chances out of 297 million to win....

To give, to share, then

Here may be a clue...

Black Hills - Paha Sapa

Best,

Scott

I'm sorry for not relating stories of my time in the area or such gold bearing streams that I have found gold!

Perhaps at this time it proves fortuitous!

Where? What mountains?!?

Something about a moon?

Sheesh! you lost me after 12 pints, Mate!!

Tank is now full.

Where in some mountains is it you wanna go, huh?

At night?!

Cool! Let's go!
