Looking back at some of these lyrics posts...... Man there was some mad LSD being shared when the music was being wrote . My opinion . I recently saw a documentary where Hitlers hoodlums where on crystal meth. Kept them going through the winters with fingers and toes falling off. Oh the US tested drugs on their soldiers in WWII as well. As an American soldier plenty of drugs have been tested on us. I remember - if you didn't take the anthrax vaccine then get out! We tested speed, sleep pills .....anti nerve agent. After awhile as a team we decided to flush it, act weird and answer their stupid questions stupidly........ They started with a captive audience. I wonder what side effects I suffer . So when I get real pissed, I start shaking and stumbling and I say you better back off, you makin my Anfrax ack up and for. 20 minutes they say I ain't responsible!!!!!!!! Usually the house quites down...... That's funny!!!!!!!!

Here in Oregon we have psychedelic mushrooms. The liberty cap...good and the death cap bad.
It is said...oh what the hell they make you trip! A mushroom tea is made. Jimi Hendrix put acid "tabs" under his bandanna at concerts.
Jefferson Airplane...well...White rabbit.....

Diesel,

You're doing a great job.....by the time you're finished you can probably sell it to Bill Gates as a summer place and move to Florida.

Well if you want to have some fun, start doing "card tricks" I just pulled off another one at the grocery store. This time I included the manager, the bagger and the young lady cashier..... Kind of left them speechless but asking for more. I don't know a lot of " card magic tricks" I'm an amateurs amateur, but it sure makes a lot of fun when the few tricks you do know you can pull off leaving smiling faces. PS yes I'm already working on another David Blaine Street Magic card trick...... Could be my best....... Or biggest flop, ya just got to try!

The cool thing about the "politics" section is JeffofPA and Treasure Hunter participate but do not... moderate! Admins moderate I believe.
It is a place that you can...voice your opinion a bit more then the regular forums.
More spirited debates.

I smell a conspiracy here.....

Y'all seem to "encourage" Scott towards the "Politics" area.

Now.
My question is why?

Y'all got some back-room pool of how quick I'd get banned? :laughing7:

Perhaps to see if I could "hold it together" in a heated battle of ideas,
words and ability to succinctly convey my positions....:dontknow:

Perhaps, seeing how this is the year of a new President, I'll dip my toe in the water.

Perhaps.....

Best,

Scott

Sweet!

I believe that, given the proper tools, I would have "gussied" it up a bit more.

Perhaps some scroll work on top of the head or maybe rounded corners.
And certainly a bit of decoration on the skirt.
And either more or less of the knots.....

You say that you got a router?

Best,

Scott

Nice double pane.
A Pella?

I worked at a window and door company a few years ago.

Ever hear of "Jeld-Wen?"

I once had to unload a new machine to the production floor from the back end of 2 semis. Driving that forklift.....

Place everything, secure it, connect it and then make it run.

It was from Germany.

All schematics and literature were in German.

No problem.

Well,
When it came to connecting electronics and such, I suspected an error in the schematics.

The Plant Manager called Germany based upon my findings.

My Plant Manager didn't speak German, but.....I did! 8-)

That phone call saved over $10,000 in damage and the schematics were changed immediately!

There are a few heated discussions but it's bad IMO. Well spirited debate!! I believe since you are a charter member, Scott..That you can read the threads there. I don't think you have to "sign" the guest book unless you want to post.
One thing I know is not to get too wound up, But agree to disagree.

And we all know Nicolette from this little tune.....

Reached #8 Feb. 17th, 1979. Her first chart record.
On the charts for 19 weeks, it was in the top 10 for 4 weeks.

After intense study of this here "GIS" course I'm taking this semester,
I have come to the realization that it is about "mastering" a computer program or such.

That means that I'm screwed...Or, I can put on my "big boy pants," study like crazy and learn all of the file pathways, etc so that I can put on my Graduation Cap this Spring!

Yep.

They already wantin' money for caps and gowns, diplomas and such....

Sheesh!

Y'all behind me, right?

Best,

Scott

As Old Abe said about "Bein' ridden out of town on a rail...."

Ridden out of Town on a Rail

Being ridden out of town on a rail was a very public and humiliating punishment in colonial America. Typically, the victim was forced to straddle a fence rail held on the shoulders of two men. He was paraded around town and subjected to ridicule for his offense. For example, the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" offers a depiction of such a punishment. When Homer Stokes, the Grand Wizard of the KKK and the “reform candidate” in the election, objects to the music of the Soggy Bottom Boys on the grounds that they are racially integrated, he is ushered out of the auditorium on a rail.
Was Abraham Lincoln ever ridden out of town on a rail? If so, what on Earth did he say to draw the wrath of his neighbors in central Illinois?

Lincoln's quote, a few years before my time:
(Yet, somehow, I feel as if I were there.....)

"You have heard the story, haven’t you, about the man who was tarred and feathered and carried out of town on a rail? A man in the crowd asked him how he liked it. His reply was that if it was not for the honor of the thing, he would much rather walk."

Sorry.... Damned tangents of thought.
Again....

"Don't worry, Comrade.
Drink up!"

The jokes are on you,....

Alles klar?

NICHT!

I still have dreams of.....

Ever hear of the "Cold War?"

Yeah. It was pretty warm where I was.....
Can you say, "Nuclear?"

Though I won, in my dreams, it all becomes a nightmare......

Yeah, I'm sometimes an "All-Nighter!"

A "Joker?"

You decide.....

(When I have to be.....)
