PARSIPPANY — Rare currency got that much more scare for a township man, police said.
A safe with $3,500 of $2 bills and $2,500 worth of Susan B. Anthony dollar coins was stolen from his house when he was on vacation, police said.
Officers William Stone responded to the report of the burglary at a Fairfield Road home at about 1:09 p.m. July 19, police said.
