The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor catapulted the United States into World War II. On December 7, 1941, the U.S. naval base on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, was subject to an attack that was one of the greatest military surprises in the history of warfare. I am not really a fan of Oahu, in general.. But the Pearl Harbor Memorial is heart stopping.. When we go to Hawaii that stop in Oahu is only to see the memorial..it makes me proud, makes me sad, Bless those men, and all the heroes of our struggles.
