N.Y. Common Core Web Link Sends Kids to Explicit Sex Quiz

Wednesday, 15 January 2014 09:44

Written by Joe Wolverton, II, J.D

A “Student Services” page on a Common Core website in New York directs children to take quizzes that reveal if they are “sluts” or “losers.”

The extremely explicit questionnaires were discovered by Anna Shah, the mother of a kindergarten-aged child, when she was looking around on Engage NY, the Empire State’s Common Core resource site, a blog published by the Washington Post reported.

The link discovered by Shah was supposed to help students prepare for tests administered as part of the Common Core curriculum. The information she found, however, included quizzes aimed at revealing whether the student is a “sexy *****,” “evil,” a “freak,” etc. According to the site, answers to other questions would determine if the respondent was a “slut,” “a true Mexican,” or “gay.”

According to the story in the Post, Shah “immediately reported” the disturbing discovery to the New York State Department of Education and the site was deactivated. An investigation uncovered that the “link had been up since October 2012.”

State education officials likely rushed through their approval process, neglecting the due diligence that would have exposed the vulgarity lurking in links listed on the online Common Core materials they provided students as young as five years old.

Such disregard is probably the effect of the zeal of New York Education leadership to “jump into the deep end” of Common Core. New York State Board of Regents Chancellor Merryl Tisch told the New York Times in April 2013, “We can’t wait” to adopt the Common Core standards. Carol Burris, writing for the Washington Post, pointed out, “'We' was a curious choice of pronoun. After all, kids and teachers, not Ms. Tisch, were being forced to sink or swim.'”

Unfortunately, Shah’s experience reveals that the impressionable children of New York could be innocently clicking around on an ostensibly “helpful” test prep site and end up swimming in a sea of sexually explicit filth, made available to them by the men and women they are taught to trust.

In the interview with the New York Times, Tisch seemed unfazed by the controversy, however. In fact, in her story, Burris reports that Tisch “bragged that New York State is the only state using its federal Race to the Top dollars (more than $28 million) to develop curriculum aligned with the Core.”

Curriculum aligned with the Core. That is a damning and ill-advised admission against interest by a person in Tisch's powerful position.

Tisch’s attitude seems to be shared by her supervisors in the education department in Albany, as well. Burris writes:

When parents and teachers complained about the content of the curriculum modules, state education Commissioner John King dismissed their concerns, saying that he has “tremendous confidence in the materials.” He often describes the interest in New York’s reforms by the number of “hits” on Engage NY pages.

Below, this reporter has copied some of the questions on one of the quizzes posted on New York’s Common Core resource page. Be warned, the questions are disgusting and are reproduced only to demonstrate the unalloyed evil to which America’s youth are being exposed by federal education bureaucrats and their state co-conspirators. Mind you, this particular questionnaire was chosen because, believe it or not, it is the least offensive of the lot.

On the “Are You a Slut?” quiz, students are asked:

How many sexual partners have you had?

Would you have a threesome or a gang bang?

Are you often called a slut?

Have you ever let a boy hump you or grind on you in your younger years?

Have you ever messed around with brothers, cousins, or some other people related somehow?

What type of sex do you enjoy/prefer?

(Questions were obtained by examining screen shots of the now-removed webpage posted by Carol Burris.)

And so on. One thing that should be pointed out, as well, is that not only are the questions themselves pornographic, but the multiple choice-style answers listed below each one are far worse. For example, one possible answer suggests students “establish a lesbian night, involving soft porn and licorice with your best girlfriends.”

When will enough be enough? The depth of the depravity evident in these questions should be sufficient provocation for parents coast to coast to rise up and refuse to submit their children to the moral morass created by Common Core.

As of press time, 46 states and the District of Columbia have adopted the Common Core curriculum, whether formally or by implementing the Common Core standards. Only Alaska, Nebraska, Texas, and Virginia have rejected these “reforms.”

The New American covers Common Core extensively, including providing numerous videos aimed at arming parents with the information they need to defeat the forces pushing for universal adoption of the despicable Common Core scheme.

We're doomed because the generation that is now being brainwashed in the schools, though we may be dead when the time comes, will be running this country. If it is still a country by then.
