Just wanted to start a thread about ecigs. First off I started about 5 months ago. First day I was driving to get a pack of my cigs Newport 100s green box it was a everyday journey. Well I got the pack drove by the neighborhood vape shop put out my fresh cig then went into the store. Tried many flavors it was actually nice to have a nice selection. Got a ego battery and a tank and a 30ml bottle of menthol with 18mg nicotine. Drove home set it all up let it sit smoked another cig thinking what if this contraption works. Well let's just say it worked for 5 months and going. I did switch up batts and tanks. I smoked for 4 years before that. If you smoke and want to quite or even don't want to it will work. I went into that store with the mindset that I didn't want to quite then left with the same mindset. It worked though and with this you can ween yourself off the nicotine.

I have now a innokin itaste SVD with a protank 2 tank. With 2 aw imr18650 battery's and a Samsung 18650 battery. Great investment saved a ton of money

5 months =150 days so
150x6=900
SVD cost 65 shipped batteries 10$ charger 15 =80
900-80=820
My kanger pro tank 2 =25 innokin iclear 30b=20 25+20=45

820-45=775
Every two weeks I get a bottle of liquid and a coil equals up to 20$

150÷7=21 let's just say 20

20÷2=10×20=200

775-200=575
So roughly I saved $575 in these 5 months that's roughly $120 a month.
Almost forgot my first purchase the starter kit and extras 65$ so I've saved $510.

Well I've saved 102 a month not to shabby.

if you can get off cigs then that's great but, from what I've heard and read, e-cigs are just as bad as cigarettes. so you're not really winning if your goal is to be healthy.

I was in the wagon pretty early with vaping, and actually quit smoking (even though it is NOT a smoking cessation device, thanks FDA) for about 4 months.

The issue I always had was the drying out of my mouth and throat and a bad after taste that'd hang around for days. Maybe the flavors are better nowadays.

Talk about treasure hunting I was a domain name hunter and actually owned vaping.com, but sold it a few years ago for low to mid xxxx when I needed some cash. About a year later it exploded and 7-11 started carrying them. I really thought the FDA would try to ban them. I'm still kicking myself for selling that one!

Heya Smooth, vaping is WAY better than smoking tobacco. Tobacco smoke has 2000 known carcinogenic chemicals. Vaping has 3. Also, it was very very easy to stop vaping. I'm still unfortunately smoking though.

To much pg it'll dry you're mouth out. It has different effects for different people. I smoke 70%vg and 30%pg. Also certain flavors will irritate you're throat. Its all trial and error.

As for you're domain thing how do you go about that just make and own it and leave it naked waiting for a buyer or? I'm interested I know how to make sites well I got the basics. Use to help script kiddies mirror sites with their harmless java drive bys. Easy way to make 5$ I wish I bought the megaupload domain you could make a killing with that domain. Even with just Google AdSense. And nothing else.

I'll admit I have smoked a couple cigs since I quite I still enjoy them but vaping is basically the same to me. Smoking just delivers the nicotine faster and in bigger amounts. I still smoke cigars from time to time to like at the casino.

I don't know about stopping vaping I don't plan on it. I am going to Canada in a month and don't want to take my ecig since it looks like a pipe bomb. So I'll just smoke there lol. I still need my nicotine fix but Canadian cigs are really smooth if you ever smoked one. Expensive though good luck on quitting also.

As for the guy saying its as bad for you as cigs please show the proof of it. Ill say its not as healthy as just quitting all together but putting it up there with cigs is wrong. It hasn't been here long enough for long term effects. It took along time to see the long term effects of cigs. So we will truly know if its really bad in 7 or so years. If you read the articles saying pg is in antifreeze so that automatically makes ecig bad you better stop brushing you're teeth to because pg is in there to.

I had put up a simple informational site, at the time it got about 20 views a day, I wouldn't want to know what it gets now. I used to play the seo and link building game, but was never very good at it.

There are still people out there finding domains that are available, building simple sites and flipping them or just grabbing a high traffic domain or finding the right kind of name to flip. It's a bit of a technological treasure hunt. If you've got traffic it's worth some money.

But back on topic thanks for the info on the pg %. Maybe I can find some juice that's lower that'd work better for me.

You're welcome I'd ask the store that you get it from what %s they use. Then say if they'd use a different % they should say yes.

I have never smoked. I am not affective by pier pressure, being mostly a lone wolf type.
I could never understand someone going for the thrill of the smoke over the damage to future health.
Hay, I am 76 and still out there digging. Just my thoughts, Frank...

I don't know when I first started I thought it was cool. My parents smoked to so maybe that helped. Wish I never did smoke now though.

Well my girlfriend got a set, (2) from a vapor store as a kit last year around July. It isn't like the ones you see in convienent stores. It is the battery and the optimizer which you put the oils in. So she got a flavor which was between a cigar kind of like Swisher sweets and a cigarette. I vaped a little bit and still smoked. Got sent up to Washington State for a month and of course ran out of smokes. Went to the convienent store to buy a pack and of couse at $9.99 a pack I decided I would vape instead. After I got back to Texas I still bought cigarettes at $5.49 a pack. It wasn't until around the beginning of November that I quit buying cigs all together. I spend $16.00 for a 30 mil bottle of oil and it will last me about a month and a half sometimes 2 months.

Way much cheaper than cigs! I can breath better now that my lungs don't have cig smoke and who knows what else. The vapor I don't inhale it. I draw it in and let the nicotine absorb in my mouth and gums so I have no urge to smoke cigs anymore and I been free from cigs going on 5 months! I did try a cig about a month ago and after 2 draws I realized it tasted like crap and put it out!

I got another flavor called Red Rum which sort of tastes like rum nad I switch between the two flavors every other day.

I heard a guy down here at Camp Bullis had one of those e-cigs from the convienent stores a good while back and when to vap it and it blew up in his face, the battery shot out and caught the range on fire when it hit the ground. So now they made it mandatory no smoking on any part of the range to include vaping as well.

I think it is funny how you couldn't smoke because people complained about second hand smoke. Now they are complaining about the nicotine in the air when it vaporizes!

Someone always has to complain about something!

I just saw a report that said that several people have died from this. It appears that there are several poisons in the chemistry of this. Saw it on TV, before any one ask. Frank...

Articles I seen were unknown causes vaping could be the cause but I doubt it. The base is only 3 ingredients or 2 if you don't use nicotine. Then its natural ingredients for the flavoring. So if you are allergic to peanuts don't get peanutbutter.
