How many box tops was that?
I used to like sending for things. Usually so many box tops and 25 cents or there abouts.
From the radio show Tom Mix I got a glow-in-the-dark arrow head whistle and a tiny revolver
that would always point North because the barrel was a magnet. The things sent for would go along with
a story we had heard on the show.
I remember I got a certificate for a square inch of land in the Yukon from Sgt.Preston and his dog King.
"On King! On you huskies!

....Grandpa....what are "curb feelers" ?
Made me giggle! I remember standing by my grandpas old Rambler wondering who stole the ones off the left side. Wish I could find a few pairs now a days! The Mexican car restorers are always looking for them! They re-chrome em and put them on their low riders. I've had guys tell me they'd give me $150 if I can find them four! Guess they don't understand there's only curbs on the right, unless you're driving in Tijuana! :laughing7::laughing7:

Remember J C Whitney? They sold most anything for a car. Like Portawalls. Rubber white round things to make black wall tires look like whitewalls. ¿Que'What?
