interesting find --- I find myself "retired" offically as of friday --

money every month for life from the union and medical coverage for life --time to do what I want to do rather than just "grubbing" out another paycheck -- about noon today-- its off to go do some beach combing and detecting with my good freind david this afternoon-- ah too darn bad it had to be a "medical" disability retirement (copd) but thats the way it goes sometimes -- now let me see what I find on day one of the rest of my "life" --- do I now have to wear shorts and sandels with black socks while I metal detect? Ivan

easy is the only way to take life now -- no stress anymore -- I no longer suffer from nitwits and "work related" stress from others --- I'm "offically" just a "carrier" now spreading stress to others.

I'm happy for your freedom Ivan! I do wish you a fantastic retirement! I retired (young) in 2001, and my preparation was worth it. It is the best of all possible situations.

Congrats on your retirement, wish you could have gotten it more in a normal manner, but at least you got one now for life. Been retired for a few years and the thought of the four letter word is no longer in my vocabulary.

However, keep busy in retirement, do not vegatate! At least go detecting 8 days a week! LOL
