LOL

In just 15 years, the U.S. will be producing unlimited amounts of nearly free,
completely green energy.

I wonder how much they will charge for it,
being they will want to make a profit worth loosing
all the other Energy Sources incomes.

Hundred trillion a Year ?

Nuclear engineers and scientists have been chasing this for decades. 15 years? I wish them well, but similar timelines have been claimed since the ‘70s.

Time for more coffee.

Pretty much the same as when they announced "clean" nuclear energy, and in retrospect we have Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, and Fukushima for some clean examples. I just hope they don't build one of these plants close to where I live.

I had a long career in nuclear power, worked at TVA Hartsville/Phipps Bend, Midland Nuclear Power Plant (never made it up), Enrico Fermi II Atomic Plant, Perry Nuclear Plant, Pilgrim Station, Diablo Canyon 1977 through 1994.

The problem has been that they could not find a medium to contain the fusion. In the article they've done that now through magnetism. The first successful major step in years. So, it will be coming.
