We were together almost 20 years and neither of us drank. She was my rock. She was my best friend. Just got back from Ga., was visiting family. Sitting alone in an empty house calling your wife's name when you know she won't answer is heartbreaking. I am lost right now.

We looked at tons of fractal burning videos. It's not something he wanted for this river table but we are gonna try it on some other pieces. I like that stock!

The Monte Carlo I remember coming out. The first new car I ever remember that came out and blew my mind was the 1966 Olds Toronado. I can still picture in my mind when I first saw it at night under lights inside a dealers showroom up on a circular rotating raised platform that had mirrored panels that were around the perimeter of that circular platform reflecting out beams of light underneath that car that simply, looked "Out Of This World". I begged my dad to go have a look at it, as he was car shopping and when I sat in it and saw the unique speedometer it had I can still recall my dad saying, 'this thing is like the old Cords'. Not knowing then what he meant, I later in life now know he was referring to the fact the Toronado had a front wheel drive. Even in my prayers I night, I'd ask God to tell my dad to buy that car, but of course he would instead buy a 1966 big green 4 door Pontiac Catalina. Which I thought was pretty cool. I also remember him cleaning out our gold 1958 4 door Chevy to trade for that Catalina. I had an uneasy feeling when the salesman whistled over to a fella who was most likely the lot helper and my dad handed that guys the keys to our Chevy and he fired it up and took off to the back area of the lot. That made me kind of sad to see someone other than my dad drive away in that car. Sometimes we'd drive by that dealer and I'd say there's our old car sitting right out front by the road for sale. Then one day driving by were it was it was gone.

My old man had a Corvair. . I don't recall ever riding in it. He told me about the oversteer, once you learn how to handle the touchy steering you can make a turn faster than any forward engine car. That's how come they put the engine in the back on Cart/Indy and F1 racing cars.

Without getting into politics(Ha!) I read part of Ralph Nader's book about the Corvair. Book was called Unsafe at Any Speed. Well yeah it was unsafe if you tried to drive it like a car with understeer. And, just who the heck is Nader to say government should ban a car design? It should be up to the consumer.

And another Freaking thing!!! What's the deal with mandatory air bags? I got in a wreck once and the dang air bag pushed my lips back so hard my teeth went through my lower lip. Another time I hit a deer and both airbags deployed. The truck was considered totaled because it would have cost more to fix the airbags than the truck was worth. What a Freaking racket! So, America is a free country, but you ain't free to buy a new car without airbags, because your government thinks they can save you from yourself!? Poppycock and other deleted expletives!
