Is your yardwork done ?

I think Purdy much. The grass is growing slower I guess because of lack of rain. Still have some trimming left. I hope it's about over for this year. cc2eea9c679aba62ae30de397da14124.jpg

Good morning guys!

I had an AWESOME day yesterday! I was in South Carolina, in this huge farm field with my metal detector. It was a big camp for Confederate soldiers, so I had my metal detector with me. The farmer plowed the field, and I was finding broken drills, whole points, knives and other arrowheads as I was swinging my metal detector. My hot redhead girlfriend found a SC belt plate, and I found a staff officers button, and bullets galore! It was awesome! Too bad the cat jumped on top of me, waking me up from the dream.

I really thought it was real, and I really am dissapointed, lol!:laughing7:

I was having such a fun time digging Enfields and Sharps slanting breeches (bullets) I was a wee bit preoccupied, lol! I do know, that my dad would have been proud of me, and my mom would strongly dislike her clothing, or lack of much of it.:laughing9:

Any of you guys ever hear of Wordens Ledges in Ohio ? This guy says the carvings are from the 1940s and Im having a hard time believing that..

I never heard of it until you posted it. Here's Here's a link to the Historical Society. I think there is a typo because it says he completed the carvings in 1848 and lived to be 94, dying in 1984.
