Maybe you move up from 28 k modem and dial up?
This site does get a little wonky for me at times. I reload the page. Do you have such problems on other sites? (Still lookibg for family friendly cow porn for you.

RTR......if florence stays west there could be an erosion event on the 1715 fleet sites. If the surf builds enough it might get good up there.

Tom,

Maybe it's time to change your 1970's commodore computer....:laughing9::laughing9::laughing9:

Bill, I got an Apple IIc plus which he could borrow and see if that helps. You can do Pine email and text.
Blazing fast 8 MHz processor. If Pine is still around.
The good news is he would find his ability to post pics would be non-existent. I mean bad news ;)

Well Bill, see what you think of this. Somewhat related.
Years ago I came to think it is possible to take an average person of average intelligence off the street and teach them all the skills and knowledge they need to be an astronaut, or a concert pianist. Or a quantum physicist, a jet fighter pilot or a master painter or sculpter. Whatever highly skilled occupation one chose.
Now it might take years and years, but you could train and teach someone eventually to be whatever you,and the others required for this project, chose.
In my mind the quality which separates those we acknowledge as a genius, or the person who trancends all others in a particular field, is passion.
Passion for something seems to be the engine which moves a human to great heights. Without passion you have someone just showing up. And maybe doing well.

Hillbilly Prince,

Well said. I know during my professional career in Railway Marketing we had some staff members who were naturally brilliant at it and was like they were born to it. Others had to struggle at it and ended up being very good at it as you say passion or maybe drive helped them to excel.

A lot of the ones who were naturally brilliant at it quite often moved on to other companies. It's almost like they got bored with it because it came to them so easy to them.

Nice back and forth guys, I agree with both of you too ! Id like to throw in determination its been a big one for me a lot of times. If the passion matches the determination and you throw in good training and a good work ethic.........well then.......a person can hardly be stopped at whatever the task is . possibility of success goes way up with that combination of attributes working toward a goal, whatever your goal might be.
