Tom,

You can make some pirate costumes for halloween and use some of the buckles.

..YUP! :laughing7:
But the problem is, most of this shoe buckles was worn by the opponents of the pirates and I don´t want to wear one of this stupid wigs to make it authentic ... :laughing7: :laughing7:

Then you are also related to CSA President Jefferson Davis, whose first wife was Zachery Taylor's daughter, and CSA Capt John Taylor Wood, who was on the CSS Virginia (Merrimack) during the battle with the USS Monitor, and later was the Captain of CSS Tallahassee, a very successful Confederate raider.
Gold boy, also Zachery Taylor was commandant of FORT KING (which became Ocala) during the Seminole Wars, and John Taylor Wood, along with CSA Sec of State Judah P Benjamin (had cousins in Ocala), CSA Sec of War John C Breckinridge( sister was married to a CSA Cow Calvary member out of Gamble Plantation, Ellenton, Florida) stayed in Ocala during their escape from the Union, carrying individual shares of the Confederate Treasury, US and other gold coins and Mexican silver dollars.

Brad,

I'll give you one to start the ball rolling. If you like one dish suppers this one should do the trick I'll take some fresh sausages usually I'll use spicy italian but go with whatever you prefer.

Cut them in chunks, likewise I'll do the same with some peeled potatoes, carrots, and chop up some bell peppers & onions.

Toss the whole thing with some olive oil, salt, pepper and whatever herbs and spices and spices you prefer and roast it in the oven for about 45 minutes I'd go with about 350 or so. I'd stir it up about midway and maybe add a bit of water if the mixture is to dry.

Let's see what the rest of the crew adds to the pot(pun intended...lol).

Regards + HH

Bill
