74 years ago today American troops along with our Allied troops slammed into the heavily fortified beaches and the Atlantic Wall held by German forces. These young men were known as the "Greatest Generation". These troops did what seemed the Impossible in liberating France and bringing the war to an end. If not for these troops efforts and sacrifice, our main language today would most likely be German or Japanese. Today we remember and salute these vet's. With all going on in our country today, it would seem that this was indeed the Greatest Generation. God Bless them each and everyone and to all our men and women serving our country today.
