Youtube es Kaput! Everytime I turn around, there's an ad breaking in

For years now all my entertainment has been through Youtube, movies and more.

Now, every time I turn around I'm being interrupted by an advertisement I have to shut down to continue the video.

I'm not pleased.

You're not alone. When i finally do get to see the video its only visible on the top one third of my ph screen, advertising covers the bottom two thirds of my screen.

Not too far in the future, you won't be able to shut them down. And they will start stacking them. There's no end to it. Soon, there will only be ads for the video, not the actual video, just ads.

And by the Danged way, I'm still seeing ads on TNet, and I paid $20 a year as a Charter Member to avoid them!

Go to your Settings page / General Settings / scroll all the way to the bottom and uncheck/Disable Skimlinks. I believe that's where you are getting the ads. It's Tnet's built in ad software.

Simple solution to all of it --- including the youtube ads:

Firefox browser with "adblockplus", "ublock origin", and "ghostery" addons. Bye bye ads.

The extension for Social fixer will do the same for facebook and will even work in Edge (formerly Microsloth exploder) and Opera browsers. Not sure about chrome, it's just too insecure to mess with.

And if you're really offended by Taboola etc. You can block them in your hosts file. Their ads just show up as blank space.

I watch alot of my Youtube on my Play Station 4, I get one ad at the beginning and thats is, now on my computer I get ads every ten minutes or so....

it is annoying when they stick an ad in the middle of a video.

they are selling ad free , so it's obvious to me they are being particularly annoying
to get kids who have access to their parents accounts to sign up.

they have those thumbs up thumbs down on ads.
of course I give a thumbs down to all.
but I figure they double to me 2 adds at the Beginning thinking if I'm that annoyed I'll pay.

of course, they don't know me and how tight I am with my money .
