The Mystery deepens...

I found a description of one bottle manufacturer that has a G with an Embossed bottle on top - Gayner glassworks, Salem NJ. I can't find a pic of this logo anywhere, it it is not on the list for known Coca Cola bottle makers marks.

Bill, the one guy I thought would know about that marking, Sandchip, has never seen it before. Promising.

It's the real deal, alright. You can't fake a bottle like that. Well, you can, but it's so obvious then. The glass is lighter, it's immaculate, almost cookie cutter if you will. No age, no bubbles, no nothing.

I took a closer look, and it is actually a G, not a horseshoe, with an upside down bottle in the middle.

Great...After I went down a rabbit hole chasing shoulder script 1910-1919 Coke's markings and falling into a whole lotta bottle makers from eras I did not want to read last night, but of course did....Including Letters on bases (vs symbols)....All chasing a horseshoe. It tain't a horseshoe...(!)

Here's where I fell out...
