Re: The GREAT TREASURE NET "SMOKE-OUT" (November 1, 2007)

You all should be proud. Your habit never bothered me, but I have seen the damage it has done to some of
my best friends. And if I ever took it up, I would have expired long ago. I probably would not have the gumption to kick the
habit now. Congrats. to all those that are getting their taste and smell back, thats the good things I hear. Gnewt
You cannot trust a friend, you can trust an enemy. Speed of dark, infinite. UFO time.

I don't usually revive old threads but I think this thread is too good to fall into the Tnet abyss. Maybe some inspiration from those who haven't quit yet? Or an update from others who have?
I'm still going strong, seems like forever since I quit.

I'll be quitting when it hits $10.00 per pack

Besides, I like having at least one good bad habit and this fits the bill. Another thing is there is one great groos out joke about smoking. Tell any non smoking woman that kissing me, is like licking an ashtray

That'd be a typical Spatacus response as opposed to an atypical Spartacus response.

Hey I almost forgot, I found one of your baby photos -

Bump! Original poster here... I've stayed smoke-free via cold turkey since Nov. 1, 2007! I'm not going to lie, I miss it every day.

I'm with ya Jim. I quit the year before you did. I still think about it too. I bought the wife one of those electronic cigarettes and had to give it a few puffs myself, just for the heck of it. It was pretty good, I have to admit. If I was still smoking, that is what I would be smoking.
