M94 or M92. They are the same. That blank has so much sap wood in it that's why it was never used. Honestly, it's firewood. If you need a nice blank I can fix you up. I have a sawmill and cut my own walnut and mill it. I just finished stocking and carving a M94. I started stocking guns in 1980. Gary

The carving is the style Winchester used from about 1875 to 1920. It's the most deluxe pattern and called "Style A".

I didn't keep close track of time but counting fitting the wood to the gun I'd guess 50 or 60 hrs. Just a guess. Gary
