just : on Sunday
A crowd of onlookers gathered in Nuremberg Sunday evening after a classic Mustang flipped onto its roof just off the main drag in Nuremberg. Nuremberg-Weston Fire, Sugarloaf EMS and State Police Hazleton were on the scene. The driver was not injured.
A Nuremberg man was not injured when he rolled a classic car Sunday evening in Luzerne County.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Hazleton, the crashed occurred on Sunday, April 5th, 2020, around 7:30pm while Jeremy Schlauch, 42, of Nuremberg was travelling south on Nuremberg Mountain Road in his 1965 Ford Mustang.
Police say Schlauch was travelling on a left curve and attempted to make a right turn onto Stauffer Avenue and struck an embankment causing him to roll the Mustang over onto its roof.
Schlauch was not injured in the crash and towed the vehicle from the scene himself

Open mouth Insert foot. I could have sworn the fast back did not come out until 67 and my car buddy next to me said the same thing. But I researched it and Ford DID make a fastback in 1965. Looks like I need to go judge some shredded Wheat or Cheerios

What a waste. Obviously, that person did not deserve to have a classic. I remember when I had a '68 charger ... wrecked it and didn't even try to save it. Took a lot of years but I finally grew up enough to realize what an idiot I was to wreck it and not try to bring it back. (stupid kid stuff) What I would give to have it sitting in my garage today.

My First car was a 1950 Willys Jeepster. I still have it. I had a 69 Charger also built a 440 for it with X heads. What a screamer. The car I miss most from then was my 68 Chevelle SS
or maybe my 53 vette not as much fun to drive but is worth a tit ton of money today

My first car was a 65 Mustang sedan, 289 w/ auto. I had that thing all jacked up with 4 bbl carb, dual pipes w/glasspacks, mag wheels etc, was a sharp car and damn it ran great. But along came marriage and a kid, that was the end of that car. Wife is long gone, I love my daughter, but I miss that car!!!!
