The correct pattern should be green, red, green, red...
This pattern suggests that you skip the next aisle then double back.
Obviously a mistake but this is what happens when managers delegate authority to kids who don't know what the hell they're doing.

75% of the people I see in the grocery store aren’t following the arrows anyway. I’m unsure whether they lack the mental capacity to understand the significance of the giant arrows on the floor and the one-way sign at the end of each aisle, they feel too self important to follow precautions, or they’re attempting to demonstrate that rules don’t apply to them. Oh well, “don’t mean nothin’ “
