When you get into a tight place and everything goes against

For the supposedly smartest animal on the planet to figure out that more can be accomplished through cooperation, how to resolve differences without resorting to violence, and how NOT to despoil the very place where they live (most of the "lesser" animals won't defecate where they live - why aren't people at least that smart ?)

you would think that after the trillions of dollars spent on it they would have a cure.
