In general, I'm pretty skeptical about reported UFO's being called
space ships from outer space, and this is primarily due to the vast
distances between our solar system and others in the Milky Way
galaxy.

What must be considered, however, is that it is quite likely that
there are other intelligent civilizations in the Milky Way (and other
galaxies) that could easily be several million to a billion years
more advanced than humans.

Considering the technological advances that humanity has made
in just the last 200 years, it's not much of a stretch to think that
an intelligent civilization millions of years more advanced than us
could have solved the issues of beyond light-speed travel.

If so, I wish they'd stop watching and just come down and say "Hello".

I agree, but greed ain't always what it is made out to be. Perhaps self-interest is the better motivator, it all depends on what you mean when you say "greed".

Yeah, okay. But at the same time everybody needs to eat. It's disturbing to me sometimes how people say "capitalist greed".

You ever read the book "Animal Farm" by George Orwell? It's a kid's story, I guess, about talking animals in a barnyard where everyone is dependent on a farmer for sustenance. In the story, it is the Pigs that are greedy, not for money but for power. It starts with the premise that "All animals are equal" which later pigs later deform to "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others".

The pigs could not control their greed either. But like I said everybody needs to eat, even space aliens. Space aliens are more like plants than animals. They eat carbon which they mine from the ground and using sulfur and water their bodies convert that carbon to the complex sugars that fuel their bodies- it's called chemosynthesis. That's how come we don't need to worry about little green men eating us-

Except for leprechauns.

Leprechauns are not only greedy but they are as dangerous as all hellfire. Leprechauns give me nightmares.

I'm of the belief that all men and women have equal resonsibility to The Creator, and therefore we all have equal responsibility to each other.

Like Mom and Dad tells their kid on the first day of kindergarten, "Keep your hands to yourself. Don't lie, don't cheat, and don't steal other kid's toys!"

I guess that goes for sentient aliens as well. But the Leprechauns choose to believe something else. Leprechauns lie, cheat, and steal as a matter of principle. They are a danger to the sentient beings in this universe. Of course the leprechauns all pretend like they are harmless or say that they are only stealing what was stolen from them. But all Leprechauns lie as a mater of principle. Much like the pigs in Orwell's Animal Farm were flat out liars.

Hierarchies are an affront to decency.
