In Florida these are known as strawberry onions, farmers plant them at the end of the rows in strawberry fields, because they get same water and fertilizer as strawberries they get rather large and are very good. This one weighed 1.2 pounds, 5.5 inches wide and tastes delicious.

We're having a gorgeous run of late winter weather, fire up the grill and get some burgers on and slice that big boy up and lay it on 'em. Battered and deep fried as onion rings would be great too. [emoji39] [emoji106]
