    March 31, 2021: Residents of Oregon and Washington State were perplexed and anxious on the evening of March 25, as they witnessed something very unusual blazing across the night sky in a spectacular display.

    Don’t know what the headline is about. A SpaceX second stage failed a deorbit burn, and broke up in the atmosphere. Parts, including a small pressure tank, were spread over a wide area of Washington, Oregon, and southwest British Columbia. SpaceX sent out a press release within an hour of the failure, with more specific info within a few hours.
