Almost 30 years as a debt collector / skip tracer but never have I desired to confiscate a corpse.

Guess he didn't realize that the corpse would stink even more than losing 80 pounds to a "dead"beat.

However, I have gone to the home and repossessed items the deceased hadn't paid on and his "heirs" refused to pay for. Just business.

Besides, "The rich one rules the poor, And the borrower is a slave to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7) "Do not be among those who shake hands in a pledge, Who put up security for loans. If you have nothing to pay, Your bed will be taken right out from under you!" (Proverbs 22:26,27)

Should have taken the coffin and left the body. You can get more money for a slightly used coffin than a dead debtor.
