Is all zest for learning gone?
What I mean is, that many times I see a post wanting to know what something is and what it is worth.
Is that all that matters ?
What's it worth?
No one ever asks why or how on things.
Its depressing.

We live in a world where currency (money) is omnipotent, and
it's become the primary focus of a huge part of the worlds population.

In their search for dollars, humanity has become disengaged with the
world we live on..the knowledge, nature, how's and why's are now
secondary to the dollars.

Those of us who can still retain that connection with nature and
our history are fading into the past. There will always be a few,
of course, but they'll be the odd ones.

Rather than depressing, maybe look at this as an opportunity
to find those younger people with a spark of interest in the
more altruistic aspects of life on Earth, and pass on the passions
we have for our history.
