What I did before getting addicted.
I did a bit of pencil drawing before metal detecting took me over.
These are some from years ago. I am older and pickier now, so maybe if I start at it again they will be better.
Oh wait, metal detecting comes first.
Way cool! I think, "Places I would like to be" is your best! I could actually feel myself sitting on the bridge\pier as well as the surroundings. It feels like a lazy Summer morning before the heat of the day sets in. Beautiful.
Don't waste your talent!!....have you ever considered illustrating a children's book?
...Wait a minute....just slow down.... you're gonna miss this....you're gonna want this back.....
I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines. I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.
Dale, YOU need to sell some of these..they are all fantastic.. I adore the third from last one..I can just visualize myself rocking on that lil porch, watching that river go by... I love it... that is my most favorite..but you have yourself one unreal talent... consider selling some will ya... I think they are all fantastic.. magnicificent is all I have to say and so real looking..
Live your life in such a way, that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, satan shudders and says, OH CHIT, SHE'S AWAKE.
I'm a personal friend of the DirtFisher. He turned me on to MD'ing (thanks Dale). I've seen his work first hand and can testify as to his enormous talent. I'm trying to get him to post more of his artwork.
Metal detecting is a first hobby for both of us. My music and drumming, and his art are second. But the dude can flat-out put a pencil to paper.
I know how much he appreciates everyones kind words and maybe, just maybe someone will toss a little business his way. Ya never know.
