What I did before getting addicted.

I did a bit of pencil drawing before metal detecting took me over.
These are some from years ago. I am older and pickier now, so maybe if I start at it again they will be better.
Oh wait, metal detecting comes first.

    Thanks.
The Dixie grill was located in Washington D.C. across the street from fords theater. The place next door was where Lincoln died.

The dog in the truck was Mack, he was our hunting dog when I was in California.

Here are a few more I just made up in my head.

Wow! Those are great! Thanks for sharing. I used to do some chiseling of wood and marble, but I never produced anything as enjoyable as those.

Way cool! I think, "Places I would like to be" is your best! I could actually feel myself sitting on the bridge\pier as well as the surroundings. It feels like a lazy Summer morning before the heat of the day sets in. Beautiful.

Don't waste your talent!!....have you ever considered illustrating a children's book?

    Great talent, Dale. 8)
I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.

I'm a personal friend of the DirtFisher. He turned me on to MD'ing (thanks Dale). I've seen his work first hand and can testify as to his enormous talent. I'm trying to get him to post more of his artwork.

Metal detecting is a first hobby for both of us. My music and drumming, and his art are second. But the dude can flat-out put a pencil to paper.

I know how much he appreciates everyones kind words and maybe, just maybe someone will toss a little business his way. Ya never know.
