Looks like a private collection. No tags with descriptions by each one. This is my 357 Python I bought in 1978. It is my sentimental favorite.

Aw, they got stuff like that on craiglist almost every week! ;D

I'd guess it's a private collection.
They don't appear to be protected in any way.
And, some of the barrels are situated poorly for by-passers.

A very long time ago a permit was $250 for full automatic. Each.

Anyone know what it would cost today?

Two yrs ago it was the same price (250) to register as a collector.Only way you could purchase full auto or a machine gun. That was according to our local collector/dealer.

The BATFE requires the payment of a transfer tax of 200 dollars for the ownership of title III firearms (machine guns, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, supressors, destructive devices or AOW's) except AOW, and these carry a 5.00 tax.

A little known fact. The seller of the full auto gun actually pays the tax. But you can guess who actually is gonna cover that! Government agencies are exempt. That's how they tend to get so expensive. Each transfer ups the cost by $200.
