This was my other mother i ran to when i was in big trouble. This beautiful woman always looked after me and my brother. Vicki was the 1st black woman black belt in judo in 1967. This article made Ebony magazine just one of her accomplishments.
You know i been called a racist by people that do not have a clue who they are talking to. Judo is a sport that knows no color or religious background. My judo mother use to teach if you hate you are already defeated.
Now, thats an accomplishment to be very proud of for sure I'm sure she earned it with a lot
of time commitment and sweat I'm curious aa how far did you go did you earn a black belt too ? ?
Did either of you ever attend the International Karate Championship in Long Beach ? Did you ever
hear of Ed Parker ? Here's 1 " quote " from him " what you earn, you get " i'm sure you treasure
that magazine and your mother of a different color
